ArcGIS is the world market leading desktop and server GIS software system which contains all the components for Desktop, web and mobile GIS implementations. ArcGIS Pro is the full force desktop client which is available in three levels (basic, standard and advanced) and can be extended with a number of extensions. The desktop software is integrated with ArcGIS Enterprise which is the server-side part of ArcGIS with a GIS Server and a portal environment. Like the Desktop extensions, Server has also a number of additional roles to extend the functionality. The Portal environment assures the security through named users and holds also the web and mobile application configuration environment. ArcGIS Online is the SAAS implementation of this system and offers also the Living Atlas of the world with several web services. ArcGIS Location platform is the PAAS version and can be integrated with several open source mapping tools.
